Fantastic chart, easily the longest I've played. Dunno if it was a bug on my side, but the audio got really warbly during HOW TO KILL A MONSTER, and the game UI got really jittery the longer I played on the chart. Also getting the count in to the chart 3 minutes in was weird.
Still finished with 1.13 mil on XD tho!
I played on Expert which was a bit above my skill level but very enjoyable. The long runtime was offputting but I blocked off time to run it as a novelty and I was impressed.
Vocal heavy album mostly sounds like Future Bass with wubstep distortions but many songs are folk guitar or trance.
The lyrics are about GenZ angst over self-identity and relationships. Not exactly my style but I get it.
A huge variety of pace, beats and complexity. From minimal all the way to chaos. Some long holds with panning for slower sections mostly in the intro and the second to last song. The hold patterns severely waver to illustrating the production distortions such as buzzing or vocal warping. There was a memorable section where the blue holds on the left half play off the rapid pink dots on the right, it was a cute way of expressing the specific lyrics about a lover's relationship. The futurebass/wubstep songs are hectic and test your lefthand/righthand separation skills. I appreciated that the yellow spacebar charting corresponds well to the audio, a pet peeve of mine when it's not done right.
Overall given the length and variety this track charting is quite an accomplishment and it was a moving experience for me emotionally.
